SmartBabies AppTM
Welcome to the SmartBabies Mobile App.
Most parents start their children’s schooling in preschool. This is way too late! The first two years are the most important in your child’s development.
Studies show that gains made in the first year of life last well into adolescence! On the other hand, children who start in preschool tend to lose the gains they made once they enter elementary school!
SmartBabies.io can help you make sure your child has the enrichment they need to thrive well into adolescence.
With the SmartBabies specialty app, you will learn how to nurture your baby’s intellectual development based on the world’s most famous psychologist, Jean Piaget. The author of the app’s enhancement program, Dr. Jacob, studied under Piaget. His books have helped tens of thousands of new parents nurture their kids’ intellectual development since the 1990s.
Using the SmartBabies App, you can foster your babies’ natural spontaneous mental abilities by enhancing their ability to think like a little scientist and sharpen their logical know-how, which leads to a great foundation for learning math in the future. The aim is to nurture ideas of space, time, cause-effect, and how objects behave when acted upon. The result is improvement of problem-solving, creativity, and inventiveness. This approach sets the foundation for all future cognitive development. With this app, you will set the stage for your child to succeed in school and in life.
The activities in this app involve toys. In some instances, you will need to purchase the suggested toys. We do not endorse any toy company. The brand of toy you choose is totally up to you. Many of the activities require gadgets that you already have, or you can make, such as overhead mobiles, large plastic spoons, pots and pans, ribbons, etc.
The set of activities are by no means exhaustive. The idea is to know why an activity is important at a given Stage. Knowledge of the developmental psychology known as constructivism that this entire enhancement program is based on is very important. The more you wrap your head around this concept, the more it will transform you to think of your child as an active meaning maker, not as a passive sponge of knowledge. You will come to see that the process of knowledge making is an active one. Children construct knowledge and know-how by interacting with objects. This knowledge coupled with your ingenuity will enable you invent your own versions of the activities found in this program. The book, Your Baby’s Brain, Intellect, and You is there to guide you in understanding what your baby is trying to understand every step of the way. The book also has additional illustrated activities that you can use.
Make sure you repeat each activity in your program as many times as your child finds them interesting. Repeating activities is an important part of assimilating concepts. So, circle back to activities that you did earlier in each Stage. It will simply strengthen your child’s knowledge base.
